What can you link to the earlier case studies learnt (US Wine,
Allentown,Nokia, Thyrocare)?
• Unlike Nokia, Google cared to keep a check on the upcoming
competition and adapted accordingly even though they were
the market leaders.
• Similar to Thyrocare, Google always attracted and recruited
the best minds.
• Google constantly kept an eye on the changes in the market
dynamics and resorted to acquisitions or partnering with the
best ones in the digital and advertising sector having a
potential head of the department to oversee them. Thyrocare
failed to do this that led to it being sold off.
• While US wine market was too engrossed in its competition
and failed to analyze the customer needs , google continued to
remain customer centric in their new product developments
