new line.

Greatly enhance a procedural text and reinforce technical instructions. Maps, diagrams
and photos are essential.

FLOW
Use connectives and conjunctions related to time to indicate the
chronological order of the actions.
DETAILS
Details are important in a procedure. Assume very little.
A. Read the instructions for making ice cream. Number the steps 1 to 5 and
underline the words that show the order.
Activity #2 C. 'Once' and 'when' introduce clauses. That means they need to be followed
by a subject and a verb. Reorder the words in brackets to form 'Once' and
'When' clauses.
E. Write your own instructions for any procedure you like, using the
sequence words provided.
C. Now read it out loud to your classmates but leave out the titles
