Introduction-
Sreemangal, is in Sylhet Division. Sreemangal is the place for a relaxing.
Sreemangal has been nicknamed the tea capital of Bangladesh.
Geographic Location
Sreemangal is located
at 24.3083°N 91.7333°E. It
has 43,952 households and
total area 450.74 km2. It is
bordered by Moulvibazar
Sadar to the north, Tripura
 to the south, Kamalganj to
the east
and Chunarughat, Nabiganj 
and Bahubal to the west.
Tea Garden
Sreemangal is known as the tea capital of Bangladesh. The
gardens are relics from the days of the British Raj. The first tea
garden in Bangladesh which names “Malni chho ra tea garden” is
here. The tea of highest quality is produced here.

Lawachara National Park
Lawachara National Park is
best known for the relative
ease of seeing primates
including four globally
threatened species:
• Northern Pig-tailed
Macaque, Phayre’s Leaf
Monkey, Capped Langur,
and Western Hoolock

Baikka Beel
 Baikka Beel, a sanctuary for birds and fish, is located in Sreemangal.
 It is a part of Hail Haor.
 Thousands of birds live here and thousands more migrate.

Hum Hum Waterfall
 It was discovered in
2009.
 The height of the fall
is about 135-160 feet.
 Covers trekking beside
water stream, forest,
and slightly hilly area.

How to Go
Sreemangal, about 150 km north east of Dhaka and 75 km south
of Sylhet, you can take Bus, Train and air from Dhaka to go there.
