REFUELING

GUIDELINES
CONCRETE BATCHING PLANT FUEL DEPOT
Rule # 1 (When to refuel?)
As a general rule, all trucks/equipment shall
have fuel tanks fully loaded:

• Before the operation starts


• Before the start of an assignment
• After completion of assignment
Rule # 1 (When to refuel?)

But in anytime of the day, if equipment changes


its location, it is a must to have the fuel tank of
such equipment/dump trucks fully loaded before
going out into the new location.
Rule # 1 (For Transit Mixers)

Transit Mixer drivers MUST refuel upon returning


from delivery to clients for fuel expense analysis
per client and tracking of usage.
The Client’s location must be noted on the Fuel
Issuance slip.
Rule # 2
Drivers/Operators must be present during
refueling in order to confirm that the correct
volume was topped up and sign the Fuel
Issuance Slip (FIS).
Logbook must be filled up with the destination
for the trip for the Fuel Tender to copy on FIS.
Rule # 3
The Fuel tender is the only person who is
allowed to operate the fuel dispenser and top
up fuel to vehicle and equipment.
In his absence, the Warehouse in Charge shall be
the substitute Fuel Tender.
Rule # 4

Fully accomplished fuel issuance slip (FIS) shall


be forwarded to Chloe for recording.
The Original copy of FIS shall then be forwarded
to the Fuel encoder at Bata Office DAILY.
Draining of the Fuel Tank
• One Communities Fuel tank shall be drained quarterly (4
times a year).The Fuel tender shall inform the Fuel
Analyst and the Fuel Analyst shall inform the Audit Dept.
to supervise.

• If fuel is above 300 liters, draining shall be done through


the dispenser. Lower than 300liters, it shall be drained
thru the drain plug.
Fuel Tank Keys
• There should be an inventory of fuel tank keys every week
and a report on such must be submitted every Tuesday to the
CEO, cc the Audit and QMS Head.

• All keys of fuel tanks are strictly under the sole custody and
absolute accountability of Warehouseman assigned as the
“Keys Keeper” on site and their alternate only and in no
instance shall the keys be in possession of other person
except by the authorized Keys Keeper only.
