ACCOUNTABILITY OF
A TEACHER
RESPONSIBILITY
- Entails "answering" for what one has been called
upon to do.

1. Enthusiasm or Avidity for Learning


- Every teacher wants his/her pupils to love school
and be eager to learn. In generating enthusiasm or
avidity for learning, a teacher must be a good
motivator. The teacher can do this by creating a very
interesting classroom environment, and by using
textbooks and other audiovisual materials which are fun
to hear, read, and study.
ACCOUNTABILITY
- The acceptance of responsibility to fulfill a
certain obligation or duty.

1. Classroom teachers as members of the teaching


profession are accountable for the development
and implement action within the school system of
policies that will insure.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
-Stated in the qualifications standard (CSC
1995)
1.Teachers subject such as Filipino, English, Math, Araling Panlipunan, Technology and
Livelihood Education, MAPEH and Values Education.
2.Enrolls students.
3.Prepares effective lesson plans.
4.Prepares visual aids and other devices for instruction.
5.Sees to it that the students in his/her class provided with the necessary textbooks when
available.
6.Impliments rules and regulations.
7.Conduct guidance services for his/her advisory class
8.Evaluates students progress and provides various experiences for their continous
development.
9. Supervises curricular and co-curricular projects and activities of the students.
10.Check/records the attendance of the student.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
11.Keeps up-to-date anecdotal records of stuents
12.Keeps school records and prepares required reports.
13.Keeps parents informed on students' progress
14.Attends and participates in in-service trainings and faculty meetings
15.Executes the administration of the School Policies designed for the welfare of students.
16.Maintains membership in professional organizations
17.Works with other school personnel, parents, and the community for the total development of
the students.
18.Participates in the socio-economic development projects in the community.
19.Coordinates and cooperates with other teachers in school prjects or activities.
20. Safeguard school facilities and equipments
21.Does other related work.
