My uncle and aunt had a wedding where guests

were invited for one week. I think this was very

tiring because there were so many activities to
do. I have never made a gift for anyone. I'm not
sure what I would do, so this time had to be
different, and I was nervous about it.

A week before the wedding, the bride and groom and we

went to a photographer's studio, where the wedding
photos are taken. The bride wore her wedding dress, and
she was afraid to stain it. There is a tradition that the
groom cannot see the bride in her wedding dress. It’s
kind of unusual.
The night before the wedding we went to a dinner, it’s a
dinner that was hosted by the relatives of the groom, where
a speech was made. The bride cried because of the words
her father said. I sometimes buy flowers for my girlfriend on
her birthday from her. I've never bought flowers for another
person. However, when I was in the dinner, each guest had
to take a flower into dinner for our aunt. It's a little strange.

The civil ceremony was held, the guests went to

a church, where the religious ceremony was
held. The guests were very tired because we
had to go from one place to another.
After the bride and groom exchanged rings,
there's a ceremony when the bride and
groom walk down the aisle and the guests
throw rice at the newlyweds. I guess this
tradition can seem slightly bizarre if there are
not from your own country.

At the church door, there was a final moment in the

ceremony when 2 doves were released.
At the reception, there's a tradition where the
guests wrote on the groom's shirt. There are
some weddings where guests "write" to the
groom's shirt so that he has a memory of his
friends.

My favorite part is the event when the

newlyweds are invited to vals.
I remember that the best man at the reception,
whose job it was to take care of the rings in the
church, also make a beautiful speech. It is
interesting to listen to these kinds of speeches
because I think they are sincere.

I bought something for the bride and groom. I thought that

was not enough. I've never bought my aunt and uncle a gift.
However, I organized the guests to buy them a trip to Hawaii.
They're always appreciative for that.
