EMPOWERMENT
THE process of becoming stronger and more
confident, especially in controlling one's life
and claiming one's rights.
The empowerment and autonomy of women
and the improvement of their political, social,
economic and health status is a highly
important end in itself. In addition,
Malcolm X, the eloquent spokesman for
black empowerment  who, in 1965, was
gunned down at the age of 39 in New York
city, continues to influence the political,
social, and cultural climate of our society.
It is essential for the achievement
of sustainable development
It is the process by which women challenge gender based
discrimination in every institution and structures of
society
In all parts of the world, women are facing threats to their
lives, health and well- being as a result of being
overburdened with work and of their lack of power and
influence.
NEED OF WOMEN
EMPOWERMENT
Women's
empowerment
is really needed in the
societies. It's so
important
for women self-
esteem
and also for societies.

Empowerment of women is a part to encourage

women to feel strong by telling them that they
can do everything that they want to do.
Women empowerment is needed because the
honor killing epidemic needs to be addressed
Female Genital Mutilation(FGM) is happening
and is practiced on girls as young as five
years old.
It is needed for negotiation by women in
domestic, personal and professional
responsibility.
Child marriage take away the childhoods of
little girls and put them into the
responsibilities of married life.

Examples & Conclusion
1):- Benazir Bhutto ,the former prime minister of Pakistan, is
seen as a symbol of women empowerment and her career has been
celebrated as an accomplishment for women in the Muslim world.
2):-Pervaiz Musharraf the former Prime minister also played a
major role for the welfare of women
3):- On international level many people worked regarding the
authorities of women like Mother Teresa. and Anjezë Gonxhe
Bojaxhiu
To conclude it can be said that in a traditional
patriarchal society of Pakistan ,women are
expected to be dependent on men; and the idea
of empowerment sounds only theoretical ,not
practical.
Much of the role of Pakistani women in politics is
determined through customs and traditions of
the community and thus it is via customary law
that Pakistani women politicians enjoy certain
rights and privileges on one hand and face
certain limitations on the other.
However, women parliamentarians enjoy,
practice and assert far more power in different
spheres of their lives than generally it is
assumed about women
Adapt it with your needs and it
will capture all the audience.
