SWOT Analysis:
Strengths –

i) LICHF provides loans at one of the cheapest rates (7.50 %– 9.00%)

ii) Backed by Government security. So, One of the safest loan schemes available.

Weaknesses –

i) Being a govt entity, it has a slow decision-making process as compared to private players.

ii) Poor advertising strategies resulting in less brand value.

Opportunities –

i) PM’s scheme of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana will provide a huge market

ii) Company’s well-diversified pool of resources strives to optimize its borrowings between short-term and long-term debt to mitigate
such risks.

Threats –

i) LICHF requires to deal with various compliances framed by several regulators, government etc which creates an Inability of the Company to comply with rules and
regulations that could impact business.

ii) Severe competition with other private players makes this market heavily volatile.
