Kind
(John 6:1-13)
Jesus was teaching along the
shore of the Sea of Galilee.
A big crowd of people followed
Him because they saw the
miracles Jesus did in healing the
sick.
Jesus even made the blind to
see and the lame walk again.
Then Jesus went up the hillside
and sat down with His disciples.
A little boy happened to go up the hill,
too. He sat down at the feet of Jesus
and listened to His teachings.
(John 6:1-13)
Wonderful! Five thousand men were
able to eat out of five loaves and two
small fish and there were still twelve
baskets of left over.
All the people were surprised to
see another miracle that Jesus
did.
Yet Jesus was able to do this miracle
because the little boy had shown an act
of kindness by sharing his little food to
all people.
Let’s Talk About It!
1. If you were Jesus
followers, how would
you feel when the food
ran out?
2. If you were the little boy,
would you share your food, even
if you knew that it was only very
little and would not be enough
for the thousands of people
there? Why?
3. How did Jesus
reward the boy’s
kindness?
4. What miracle took
place?
• We can serve God by
doing an act of
kindness.
• God is pleased even
by little kindness that
we do.
• Let us show kindness
to others.
Remember:
God wants us to share
with and be kind to
others.
One is kind when:
one is generous
