who they are and what they do.
• Its not about who you know but who knows you
• VISIBILITY AS A CHANGE AGENT
Why people shy away?
• Fear holds people back: speaking up, standing up and be seen
• Many women don’t want to self- promote
• Not aware of their expertise or knowledge they have
How can you be visible?
• Start building a brand
• Each one of us is a BRAND, A BRAND CALLED YOU
• Your brand is your reputation, it send a message to people why you do what
you do
• It provides info about you want to accomplish
• You need to know your WHY
WHAT IS YOUR PURPOSE/CAUSE/BELIEF?
- PERSONAL BRAND IS PERSONAL
• A good personal brand reflects what kind of individual you are and why
others would want to engage with you
Why should I create a brand?
• People do business with people- they relate with people
• A personal brand provides your potential clients or employers with
that top secret info
• Building a personal brand is hardwork, it takes time, consistency,
clarity and authenticity
• Your brand has to reflect your image, mission, values and vision
How do you go about building a personal
brand?
• Do a SWOT ANALYSIS (clarity)

• What is my expertise? What am I good at
• What are my values?
• Who am i? what is my position in the industry
• Who is my audience?
• What will my brand stand for?
• What type of content will I share?

• ASK YOURSELF
• Do the right people know about you?
• Are you positioned well to attract the right opportunity?
• What clients might be in need of your skillsets/target audience- how can you help
them?
• What digital platform is appropriate? Is it instagram, linkedin, twitter or whatsapp
• What problems can you solve?

• Have your cv, profile, bio, photo ready
• Your network plan (audience ) where are they
• Which platforms to use?
• What is your content strategy?
