UNDERSTANDING A SOCIAL

SYSTEM
A social system is a complex set of Human
Relationship interacting in many ways. Two points
stand out in the complex interaction among people in
a society system.

1. Mutually interdependent
2. Open system
Social equilibrium
Social equilibrium is a dynamic concept not a static
one.
If you want to organize a program and if you follow
only the traditional system the program may not be
completely executed. But if you work on the actual
situation and what should be done specifically, then it
is possible to complete the program.
Functional & Disfunctional effect
A change such as the introduction of cross functional
design team at Ford has a functional effect where it is
favourable for the system. When an action or change
creates unfavourable effects such as decline
productivity for the system it has dysfunctional
effect.action among people in a society system.
