INTERPERSONAL SKILLS IN

EDUCATIONAL SUPERVISION
JOHN PATRICK A. VILLONES
PRESENTER
Today’s school heads
are plagued by a barrage
of concerns. All of these
aim to address the
educational needs. A
school head helps the
school attain a high level
of performance through
the utilization of its
resources.
It should be necessary for school
heads to correct, inspire,
set the norm, and live by example.
They can also be a direct
link to the sector, opening the door for
more stakeholders to
engage in community education so that
they can be the school's
collaborators.
Goodleadership encourages
schools to have successful
preparation, motivates the
organization's citizens to
function as a high-performance
team.

The head of the school should have clear and enlightened

leadership to realize the school's goals.
The school performance can
be primarily attributed to the
school head’s interpersonal
skills.
The more interpersonally
qualified and talented the
available school leader is, the
better the school will perform.
Interpersonal skills are the
life skills we use every day,
both
personally and in groups, to
communicate and connect
with other individuals.

The commonly few words which are

commonly used to describe interpersonal skills are social
skills, social maturity, people skills, soft skills, social self-
efficacy, and social intelligence.
Interpersonal skills can
be referred to as the
ability embraced by the
school head that gives
space for the school to
have a successful human
contact.
The foundation of
human relationships
and the ability to
interact with other
people are connected
to interpersonal skills.
If school heads want a successful result at the end of the day,
either as individuals or as a collective, they must understand and
inspire teachers.

1. Building good working relationship.

Working relationships are the connections you form with

coworkers, colleagues and managers in the workplace.
Although the relationships you build with colleagues and
managers may not be as intimate as those you have with family
and friends, they are nonetheless crucial.
2. Building Trust.

To define trust, we also need to go beyond these practical kinds

of considerations. A deeper version involves more of an emotional
response.
This includes feelings for employers such as knowing that
leaders are on “their side,” they will be treated fairly and with
respect and setbacks will be viewed favorably or at least not with
particularly negative consequences.
3. Communication Skills

Good communication can boost teamwork and lead to better

project collaboration. Workplace communication is important for
streamlining internal communication.
Maintaining effective communication ensures that
management and the team below them are on the same page. That
means that employees are confident with the work at hand and
managers are assured that team members are correctly undertaking
that work.
