On-premise Catering: all the required functions and services
that the caterers execute are done exclusively at their own
facility. (Hospital Catering).

Off-premise Catering: serving food at a location away from


the customer’s food production facility.
(Fast Food Restaurants).

Off-Premise catering categories

1 Party Food Caterers :


They supply food only for an event.
They drop off cold food and leave preparation , service and
cleanup to others.

2 Hot Buffet Caterers :


They provide hot food that are delivered from their commissaries in
insulated containers.
They sometimes provide serving personnel at an additional charge.

3 Full-Service Caterers:
They provide food and frequently cook it to order on-site.
They provide service personnel at the event
They provide all the necessary food-related equipments (china,
glassware, tables and Chairs).
They provide other services (décor and music)
