About Animal Cruelty
Animal Cruelty is not something which is very
occurring with owners. However, some people
choose to make bad decisions, and the victims of
them were the animals.
About Animal Cruelty
Animals and pets should be treated as how you
would treat another person, because they have
feelings and emotions too.
About Animal Cruelty
Even though people abuse their animals, there
are people that love their animals, and pets, and
treat them with respect. They are responsible for
their animal, and treat them with care.
How bad is animal cruelty?
Animal Cruelty is a crime, and animals, and pets
are being given better lives with different
families that will treat them much better.
What are the two types of cruelty?
Animal Cruelty can not only be as physically
abusing an animal, or pet, but it can also be cruelty
if you neglect or abandon an animal.
What is Abandoning or Neglecting
an animal?
Neglecting an animal is leaving it
without food, water, or shelter, and
when the animal has no proper
veterinary care.

The animal is just left alone to live for

itself, and no one is there to care for it.
What is Abandoning or Neglecting
an animal?
These people that are neglecting their
animal don’t even care about them.
They are not even providing adequate
care for their animal, which are
theirs, and their responsibility to treat
well.
What is showing cruelty physically?
Showing cruelty physically means to
intentionally abuse an animal.
What is showing cruelty physically?

These people that are showing

physically are intentionally hurting
their animal.

These animals will most likely be in

rehabilitation, to undo the actions
of their previous treatment.

Only about 15 to 20% of dogs are returned to their
owners. And only about 2% of cats are returned back
to their owners.
One more shocking thing is that more than 20% of
people who leave animals in shelters, leave animals
in shelters.
