My trip to

Minnesota and
Chicago
Minneapolis
• In October 2021, my wife, my one-year-old daughter and
I decided to take a trip to the United States.
• Our choice was Minneapolis first, and the a few days in
Chicago, a city that we always wanted to visit, but we
couldn’t because of the pandemic, even though we had
the tickets bought.
• It also was the second trip abroad of our baby girl who
was one year and three months old in that moment.
Happily, she enjoys airplanes, and she is a great traveler.

Saint Paul
• One of the places we enjoyed
visiting the most was the
Saint Paul Cathedral.
• Saint Paul is one of the Twin
Cities. The other twin city in
Minneapolis and they are the
most important cities of the
state of Minnessota.
• Inside the Saint Paul
Cathedral we found this
amazing exact replica of “La
Piedad” made by
Michelangenlo.
• It was bought by a citizen
from Saint Paul and donated
to the church.
• Nowadays, it is in exhibition
and any person can see it.

 Chicago
• The next part of our trip was in
Chicago. It was a short flight from
Minnesota.
• In Chicago we visited the most
important landmarks, such as The
Bean, Millennium Park, Navy Pier
and Trump Tower.
• One of the greatest experiences
was going to the top of Willis
Tower, and amazing Skydeck,
from where you can see most of
the Chicago loop.

Conclusion
• This trip was an amazing experience for us.
• My daughter had the great opportunity to visit a new
place and discover some new experiences in a lot of ways.
• We will always try to have trips like this so we can create
new memories and enjoy new places.
