The thirteen colonies included Virginia, Delaware, New York,

Hampshire, North Carolina, South Carolina, New Jersey,

had a few issues. They had a statement that said “no taxation without

representation” this means that they believed that the parliament
could not tax them and that only their own government could tax

them. North American believed they did not have self-government and

Soldiers to sleep and eat in their home. The colonist united to fight

in October 1781, the war virtually came to an end when General
