provided by effective communicators.
- Employees and teachers as well as students need the ability to
catch subtle nuances of people’s manner of speech when
communicating across cultures.

EXAMPLE: (FILIPINOS) While we are talking or expressing our


thoughts , we should not interrupt the speakers , or else it would
be considered as uncouth(disrespectful).
CULTURAL AWARENESS IN BODY
LANGUAGE
- Exposures to different cultures may teach us to understand
acceptable speaking distance ,conflict styles , and accepting the
physical expressions of other’s people culture that are not
universally accepted.
- Goes along with the importance of nuances of speech .

EXAMPLE: (Situational) When we are making others cultures


expression as a laugh stock we should rather look to its
interpretation so we can shower them the respect and
appreciation of one’s culture expression.
