-Fusion of two technologies
namely(information technology and
communication technology(lwu,2006).
Information technology- employs the use of
computers and other dvices for managing and
communicating information.
Communication technology- transfer of
information among people through the use of
technology.

• tools to access,retrieve,store,organized,
manipulate,produced,present and
exchange information (Marquez,2018).
• all devices, networking components,
applications and systems that combined
allow people and organizations to
interact in the digitalworld.(pratt,2019).
ICT
• diverse set of technological tools and
resources used to transmit, store,
create, share or exchange information
(UNESCO Institute for Statistics,2009).
