Toltec Culture

• The Toltec was a culture that


managed to transcend its time and
be considered a model for the
Mesoamerican societies that
succeeded it.
Introduction
Time in history

• The heyday of Toltec culture took place between 900 and 1200 a.C.
and it has been proven that they had a notorious influence on the
Mayans.
Geographical Location

• Its headquarters were in the city of Tula, Hidalgo, it was


one of the most important groups in Mesoamerica, for
which it is possible to find characteristic elements of that
culture

The Toltec economy was sustained

Technical • Pyramids existed in Mexico long before the
Toltecs, but the Toltecs took them to new

Quetzalcóatl and Tezcatlipoca
emerged as the most important of
all.
