Explain 3 rulings regarding dry ablution.

 1. If water is not available, or is available but not enough to perform ablution

This means that for example you are travelling you are out of water and you need to pray
and the closest water source is another 20km away you can stop: make niyyah and say
bismillah and strike the ground with your hands then blow off the dust then wipe the face
and then wipe the hands up to the wrist. And if you have water but it is not enough to do
ablution then the steps above apply.
 2. if he is ill and fears that use of water could aggravate his situation or delay recovery
 This means that you are travelling for example up a mountain and you are almost out
of water or you have water but you are trying to preserve it as much possible and the
nearest water source is at the middle of the mountain and you need to climb another
300 metres then you can do dry ablution to pray. Or if the water is impure.
 3. if the water is so cold that its use could harm him
Explain 3 rulings regarding wiping over footwear.

over them in the next wudu.
• He would wipe the upper part of the socks.
• Starting with the right then the left foot.
