to be changed to improve the three key
result areas in basic education: access,
quality, and governance. However, PIAs
are not just limited to issues within the
school. It can also be a community
situation affecting the school and learners
which needs to be addressed and brought
to the attention of stakeholders.
• Please note that PIAs have varying
difficulties – some can be addressed
within a year and some can span for
three years.
