Introduction

• Big Data is a combination of data sources, technologies, and methodologies that have evolved due to the
exponential growth of data over the last few decades. Artificial Intelligence has improved and revolutionized many
industries, including but not limited to those dealing with money, insurance, power, medicine, and retail. The field
of education has the highest potential for the use of Artificial intelligence technology.
• As a result of increased dropout rates, indifference on the part of students, and the ineffectiveness of traditional
teaching methods, universities and colleges are facing an epidemic of their own making. Learner-centered
strategies may benefit from the use of Artificial Intelligence and big data, which are both in line with current needs.
• An individual approach to education in which the needs of each student are assessed and instruction is modified
accordingly. Because of this, the teacher will be able to adapt their methods to the specific talents and
requirements of their students. Motive is increased, and attrition is decreased, as a result. This study adapts the E-
learning system to better serve university students in Australia by analyzing the role that artificial intelligence and
big data play in this process. A dataset was collected from 110 college students who were selected at random. SPSS
and SmartPLS 3 were used for data analysis.

Background
• The evaluation of educational AI is an important link in the chain of E-learning. Learners' capacities to learn may
be enhanced by better monitoring and feedback of learning results. The quality of learning is raised, and
learning is shaped as a voluntary behavior, with the help of teaching. Not all sectors embrace AI due to concerns
about its limits. Artificial intelligence (AI) creates value via automation, decision making, marketing, and
innovation. Big data invented to describe the huge amounts of recorded information that, with the right
analysis, may give important insights into a certain sector.
• Now that we have AI, we can do more work that used to need human intelligence but now just requires the
talents that computers do not yet possess. Artificial intelligence's (AI's) adeptness with data analytics is largely
responsible for the seeming inseparability of AI and big data at this time.
• Deep learning and machine learning in AI are sifting through all available data to find patterns and create new
rules for use in business analytics. AI and big data can automate 70% of data processing labor and 64% of data
collecting chores individually. In addition to their benefits for marketing and business, this shows the two ideas
might have far-reaching effects in the workplace.

Aim and Objectives
• The primary objective of this dissertation utilized AI into the working environment, the method by which managers make decisions
will undergo significant transformation. As artificial intelligence becomes more widely used in the workplace, we recognize a
transformation in the kinds of competencies that will be most important for achieving success in a management role.
• The new research information will also make it simpler for both students and instructors to have access to educational resources,
but it will also help improve the effectiveness of learning activities and the level to which those activities may be personalized.
Students and teachers will be able to spend more time together as a result of this opportunity.
• This research investigates whether we should employ artificial intelligence while gathering a large amount of data and the efficacy
of such an approach during pandemics.
• E-learning and big data have major direct effects on higher education institutions. This is especially true of higher education
institutions. Both conventional classroom instruction and online education will be significantly impacted by artificial intelligence
(AI), which will also have a big direct impact on higher education institutions.
• E-learning acts as a mediator between big data and its effect on higher educational institutions. E-learning also acts as a mediator
between artificial intelligence (AI) and its effect on higher educational institutions while collecting data. Big data and its effect on
higher educational institutions are mediated by e-learning.

Research Question

This research attempts to identify and respond to the following research questions in an effort to
achieve the stated objectives of the study.
• What is the most useful approach artificial intelligence improves to evaluate big data?
• What role does big data play in the development of artificial intelligence?
• What role can artificial intelligence play in the effectiveness of decision making?
• Which artificial intelligence strategies are used while big data and its effectiveness? And what
are the issues when utilization of AI while collecting big data?

Student ID: Project Title 6

Literature Review (Concept Map)

The new study data will not only facilitate easier access to educational resources for students and teachers, but
it will also aid in enhancing the efficiency of learning activities and the extent to which they may be tailored.
This is a great chance for students and teachers to build stronger relationships outside of the classroom. This
study explores the viability of using AI to collect large amounts of data and its usefulness in the face of
pandemics.
Major direct effects of e-learning and big data on universities have been observed. The same is true of
universities and colleges in particular. Artificial intelligence (AI) will have a major indirect impact on universities
and colleges, as well as on traditional classroom instruction and online education. The impact of large data sets
on universities can be mitigated with the use of e-learning. In addition to serving as a data collector, e-learning
acts as a go-between for the impact of AI on universities. Mediating the relationship between big data and its
impact on universities is online education.

Literature Review

The "intelligent learning system" is able to provide "personalized courses" to students in accordance with their
language, emotional state, knowledge structure, and learning style, in addition to a few other characteristics, in
order to achieve the goal of "one person, one lesson schedule" and to create a personalized learning
environment based on feedback in order to meet the diverse needs of students. Some "automatic evaluation
systems" are supported by "natural language processing technologies," such as "Project Essay Grade, e-rater,
Intelligent Metric, My Access, Criterion, and Pianjiao.com." These technologies have been developed rapidly,
and as a result, correction and homework grading can be obtained rapidly. As an effective method of instruction
that is rapidly spreading throughout the sector, educational robots are becoming increasingly widespread. The
data are used in a system for controlling and organizing the business sector. Management was adjusted by AI
based on results. Initial AI implementations made use of ground-level novel ideas and adapted to the existing
industrial context in order to better manage the whole sector. Enhanced AI software for corporate management
and administration. The labor force has shrunk as a result of the widespread use of AI across all sectors.

Methodology

Research Design
• The methodology used in the development of this research. Study methods are important because they
establish how to propel the research and verify the thesis's structure.
• This mostly descriptive research aims to examine the relevance of using artificial intelligence (AI) while
collecting big data, AI's effectiveness, advancements in this area, challenges encountered by the business, and
consumer-influencing variables.
• Understanding the challenges of Utilization of Artificial Intelligence while collecting big data and its
effectiveness and their potential combination with e-learning is made easier by this research explanation of the
relationship between internally motivated factors like the need for change, satisfaction, hedonic and utilitarian
value, and externally motivated factors like the availability of alternatives and collecting big data and its
effectiveness promotional deals.
• For this purpose, we developed a Google poll to get responses from several individuals. The researchers
adopted a cross-sectional study design because it enables for survey-based population snapshots to be
gathered at various time points.

Data analysis technique
• The survey study here is both descriptive and quantitative in its approach. Primary and secondary sources of information
are used. This study used a questionnaire as its primary data collection tool. This survey included students, researchers,
intellectuals, PhD holders, and instructors from Saudi Arabian colleges and universities. The questionnaire has two sections:
• Section-A includes demographic information on respondents, while Section-B measures the importance of AI and big data
in the adaption of online learning approaches in Saudi Arabian higher education institutions using a "5-point Likert scale"
ranging from "strongly agree-5" to "strongly disagree-1." The questionnaire was produced using "Google Forms" and sent
online to sample responders from Australian colleges and universities utilizing social networking sites.
• Study results were statistically analyzed using SPSS (v-25) and SmartPLS3. According to academy specialists, the data has
also been utilized to analyze the "future of higher institutions with regard to artificial intelligence" in Saudi Arabia.
• The researcher also gathered expert comments, feedback, and respondent assessments. The respondents' responses to
open-ended questions, comments, and multiple choice options allowed researchers predict the future of AI and big data in
higher education.

Research approach
• Descriptive research purpose, explanatory serves, and exploratory intends are the three most common. In order
to accomplish this study's objective, an exploratory online survey was conducted.
• Exploratory studies aim to learn "what's up" by delving into areas that have not been studied extensively
previously and reporting back with fresh perspectives.
• Exploratory research, we maintained, differs from conclusive research in that it offers many explanations for a
problem and possible solutions. It is possible to tailor exploratory studies to meet specific needs. As new evidence
and knowledge is obtained, the plan of action may be adjusted and new perspectives gained. Although
exploratory studies are frequently less rigorous in terms of technique and sample size, they are vital in sparking
further research and significant policy decisions.
• Research technique is included into the study design to provide a more nuanced and accurate answer to the
study's central question. We claimed that case studies are better suited to examining contemporary social
phenomena since they may help answer questions like "how" and "why."

Student ID: Project Title 12

Method of Data collection
• There are two primary methods for collecting information for scientific studies: quantitative and qualitative
methods. Users' alternative adoption may be studied using either method. The research aim necessitates the use
of artificial intelligence (AI) when gathering big data, and the success of this strategy will inform the thesis's
conclusions.
• The quantitative method, as outlined by Bryman (1984), places an emphasis on enumerating and categorizing
characteristics and using statistical methods to provide an explanation for observable phenomena. Although the
qualitative approach provides a more in-depth explanation of the social situation without expressly employing
statistics, care must be given when obtaining this data to avoid the danger of being "lost in the data" owing to the
vast number of data that must be arranged and examined.
• The online poll depends on questionnaire data for "problems" and "solutions," whereas data for "circumstance"
rely more largely on secondary sources.

Tools used in this research
• In order to maximize your preparation for data analysis and results, you should create a survey and collect a
limited number of samples that are designed to be typical of the total. Doing so will allow you to get the most out
of your data analysis and finding preparation. In the course of this research, a Google form was used to manage an
open-ended online survey.
• There are now 38 potential applicants being considered for the position. Reminders were sent out through
WhatsApp, Instagram, and Facebook to participants in the qualitative survey who had begun the questionnaire
but had not yet completed it.
• According to the findings of our study, it would seem that the vast majority of the past studies that have been
dedicated to the problem of using Artificial Intelligence while gathering a large amount of data have mostly
focused on the issue of routing.
• It makes sense to place such a strong focus on routing given that it is an essential step in the majority of Artificial
Intelligence workflows while gathering massive data concepts. The emphasis of future research should also be
directed toward a variety of other significant decision areas.

Conclusion
• The rise of AI will impact management and the future of businesses. Therefore, analysts are more interested in
this sector. Management literature defines AI as the application of artificial and machine learning languages or
other embedded programs in managerial, administrative, problem-solving, and organizational levels to make
choices at the high, medium, and low levels. Management literature predicts AI will aid in the efficient and
effective management of firms, improving their performance, profit, and revenue. Breakthroughs in AI are likely
to transform the workplace.
• As indicated, senior managers spend much of their time planning and coordinating, while intermediate and
low-level managers focus on leading and regulating. In a research by Accenture Institute for High Performance
and Accenture Strategy, approximately 1700 high, medium, and low-level managers participated. According to
our research, we have outlined the problems that AI systems management confronts in terms of both the
technology itself and the people who are responsible for its implementation. As a whole, we believe that AI has
a beneficial role to play in situations when management resources are overburdened, unachievable due to
digitalization, or when AI emerges as the preferable alternative.
