Countable & uncountable nouns

Countable Nouns
Countable nouns refer to items that can be counted, even if the number might be
extraordinarily high (like counting all the people in the world, for example).
Countable nouns can be used with articles such as a/an and the or quantifiers such as a
few and many.
Examples:
Examples Countable nouns:
house, idea,
hand, car, flower, 
and paper.

Others examples
Cat is singular and countable.
Correct: Here are a few cats .
Correct: Here are some cats .
Examples Countable nouns:
 Only countable nouns ca be used in the plural.

 We can use them with a number above one.

 We can also use them on their own to talk about things in general.
Uncountable nouns
 We use uncountable nouns for things which only have a singular
form.
 We can’t count them, and we can’t use a / an or the number one
with them.
 But we can use them on their own to talk about things in general.
