Change the question to be something you have the ability


to answer within the time period
Bad: Which national park is the best ?
Good: What features do the most popular national
parks have in common?

Questions should be specific
Research Topics to be Avoided
Controversial topics- depend greatly on the writer’s opinion
which may be tend to be biased
Highly Technical Subjects- researching on topic that require
an advanced study
Hard to investigate subjects- if there are no available reading
materials
Too broad subjects- in depth analysis of the subject matter of
the paper
Too narrow subjects- limited or specific
Vague subjects- prevent for having a clear focus on your
paper
