PM ENGAGE CASE
Helping Educators to be more productive
The Indian education system is one of the largest in the world, having more than 271 Mn
students enrolled in more than 1.5 Mn schools.

As per 'Online education in India: 2021' report, the segment in India is expected to grow to
$1.96 Bn, with 39% of all primary and secondary supplemental education being expected to
be online in 2022. 82% of the market is fragmented among small players/individuals.

Microsoft products can transform the world of education by empowering the small &
medium educationalists with the digital tools and resources that can help them cater to the
growing demand of online education. The goal is to create an industry-first platform that
can enable smaller coaching institutes / school / colleges who do not have their dedicated
IT teams, with the right tools to build their own app easily to manage all their tasks, such as,
taking live classes, whiteboarding, scheduling, enquiry managements etc.

The platform should enable educators easily customize and build their own applications.

Problem Statement
As a PM on the Microsoft Edu Team, define a set of scenarios and propose features for the
platform which will help educators build their own app to manage all aspects of student
interaction as content delivery, progress evaluation, etc, leveraging M365 ecosystem.
