Tanya: Ms. Arnaiz, I forgot to bring my book.

Ms. Arnaiz: Where is your book, Tanya?

Tanya: I left it at home. I am sorry.

Ms. Arnaiz: That is fine, Tanya. You may ask one of

your seatmates to share his or her book with you.
Tanya Learns about Sharing
Narrator: Tanya usually remembers to bring her things
to school. She always puts her books in her bag. But
today, she forgot them. Tanya is shy to ask someone to
share his or her book with her. She does not want to read
the story anymore. But Tanya also thinks that all of her
classmates will read the story. If she does not ask one of
her classmates now, she will be the only one who will
not know the story. Finally, Tanya approaches one of her
classmates.
Tanya Learns about Sharing
Tanya: Excuse me, Adam. I forgot to bring my book.
Will you share yours with me?

Adam: Yes. Let us sit closer so we can read properly.

Tanya: Thank you, Adam.
