homonyms. Homonyms are words with the same
sound and pronounced alike but differ in meaning. In
the first sentence, the homonyms are aloud and

heel and heal. In the fourth sentence, the homonyms
are blew and blue. In the fifth sentence, the
homonyms are sent and cent.
