Affixes
Affixes are set of letters generally
added to the beginning or end of the
root word to modify its meaning. The
meaning of base word changes when
affixes are added to it.
Affixes are classified into two: the prefix and the suffix.
Prefixes are placed before the word while suffixes are added
after.
