SECONDARY DIMENSIONS OF DIVERSITY

Individual differences that are acquired, discarded and/or modified


throughout the life of a person. These eight dimensions are work
background, income, marital status, military experience, geographic
locale, family background religious beliefs and educations.
Finally, there are the dimensions of diversity that people don’t
always think about, but that can have a great force on how interactions
in the workplace can take place.
