Performance Characteristics of the pump are submitted alongwith the pump .

They are -
Flow Vs Head
Flow Vs Power
Flow Vs Efficiency
Flow Vs NPSHr
Duty parameters of the pump is marked on the performance characteristics. All
other details regarding liquid handled & its properties are indicated on the
Datasheet of the pump.
It is always desirable to operate the pump at the designed duty point or in
desirable operation zone of the pump for best performance, longer life & reliability.
Part load operation or Over load operation have their own disadvantages.
