ORGEL DIAGRAM
These diagrams are concerned with the weak field complexes where the enter-
electronic repulsion is stronger than the ligand field strength. Therefore, the metal
ion configuration will cost of all give rise to terms under inter-electronic repulsion
perturbation and then the terms are split into energy level by the surrounding ligand
field potential for a given configuration. The term splitting will be characteristics of
the nature of ligand field octahedral and tetrahedral.
