CONCLUSION

• These results tell us that most of the time, favoritism is practiced because

of a leader’s personal motives—it could be to get material or non-material

gains or favors. With the idea of preserving or ensuring loyalty among

groups of people for the purpose of maintaining the hold of power, still

points to the self-preserving nature of the leader’s practicing favoritism.
