INDUSTRIAL/SUMMER

TRAINING-II
AICTE Virtual Internhip - AWS Academy Cloud Foundations and AI/ML

NAME:- VICKY YADAV

ADMISSION NO:-21SCSE1010582
SECTION:-14
INTRODUCTION

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is the world’s most comprehensive and broadly
adopted cloud platform, offering over 200 fully featured services from data
centers
globally. Millions of customers—including the fastest-growing startups,
largest enterprises, and leading government agencies—are using AWS to
lower costs, become more agile, and innovate faster. AWS has significantly
more services, and more features within those services, than any other
cloud provider–from infrastructure technologies like compute, storage, and
databases–to emerging technologies, such as machine learning and artificial
intelligence, data lakes and analytics, and Internet of Things. This makes it
faster, easier, and more cost effective to move your existing applications to
the cloud and build nearly anything you can imagine.
CLOUD COMPUTING

Cloud computing is the on-demand delivery of compute power,

database storage, applications and other IT resources through a
cloud services platform via the internet with pay-as-you-go pricing.
A Cloud Foundation is a multi-disciplinary team of enterprise
architects, developers, and operators, network and security
engineers, system and database administrators. The team governs
and enables the organization's cloud transformation process.
WHAT I LEARNED.
There are three main cloud service models. Each model represents a different part
of the cloud computing stack and gives you a different level of control of your IT
resources. The models are-
1. IaaS(Infrastructure as a service
2. Saas (Software as a Service)
3. PaaS (Platform as a Service)
and also , I learned the various types of machine learning-
4. Supervised Machine Learning
5. Unsupervised Machine Learning
6. Re-inforcement Machine Learning
also the basic concepts of Amazon SageMaker were taught with theoretical as well
as Practical approach.
CLOUD SERVICE MODEL

IaaS
Infrastructure as a service (IaaS) is a type of cloud computing service that offers essential
compute, storage, and networking resources on demand, on a pay-as-you-go basis.
e.g- AWS, Azure, etc.
SaaS
Software as a service (or SaaS) is a way of delivering applications over the Internet—as a
service. Instead of installing and maintaining software, you simply access it via the
Internet, freeing yourself from complex software and hardware management.
PaaS
Platform as a service (PaaS) is a complete development and deployment environment in
the cloud, with resources that enable you to deliver everything from simple cloud-based
apps to sophisticated, cloud-enabled enterprise applications
THE AI WORLD

Artificial intelligence also called machine intelligence is intelligence

demonstrated by machines in contrast to the natural intelligence
displayed by humans and other animals.
MACHINE LEARNING TYPES

Machine learning is a subfield of artificial intelligence, which is broadly defined as the

capability of a machine to imitate intelligent human behavior.
Supervised Machine Learning-
Supervised machine learning uses training data sets to achieve desired results. These
data sets contain inputs and the correct output that helps the model to learn faster. For
example, you want to train a machine to help you predict how long it will take you to
drive home from your workplace.
Unsupervised Machine Learning-
Unsupervised learning refers to the use of artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms to identify
patterns in data sets containing data points that are neither classified nor labeled.
Re-inforcement Learning-
Reinforcement learning is a machine learning training method based on rewarding
desired behaviors and/or punishing undesired ones.
AMAZON SAGEMAKER

Amazon SageMaker is a fully managed machine learning service.

With SageMaker, data scientists and developers can quickly and
easily build and train machine learning models, and then directly
deploy them into a production-ready hosted environment.

SageMaker Studio is embedded inside the SaaS as the data science

workbench—you can launch it by choosing a link inside the SaaS
and get access to the various capabilities of SageMaker. You can use
SageMaker Studio to process and analyze your own data stored in
the SaaS and extract insights.
CONCLUSION

The work experiences I encountered during the internship allowed

me to develop my cloud computing skills. I think I still need to work
on my knowledge in VPC. However, the overall experience was
positive, and everything I learned will be useful in my future career
in this field.
