YouTube is a media sharing website where you can upload and watch various videos it a great
website for younger audiences AND older as there are videos of people playing games as well
as tutorials on how do things for people to learn like trying to fix their phone or laptop
 Search engine allows the user to look for
specific videos they want to watch or need for
educational or entertainment purposes

Presentation
• The layout of the site is made
to follow a simple template as
it follows a grid like pattern for
people to follow easily with
images to catch the eye with
text with an easy-to-read font
this means that it's easy to
follow allowing users to direct
and navigate through the
website. This is better than just
a list or scrolling left to right as
it allows you to spend less time
finding a video you wish to
view/ watch if you did have to
scroll from left to right it would
be much more time consuming
like Netflix as you spend more
time looking then watching.
 Usability 
• The search bar is useful as it allows
you to search for the things you
are looking for to narrow it down
like searching up kitten and several
videos of kittens would show up
making it easy to use as its one of
the first things you'll notice about
the site. If the site didn’t have a
search bar people would have to
resort to the category which
rounds up videos that fit the
criteria of the algorithm got the
categories for example if you went
on debates or game shows it would
find you videos that fit that type
Accessibility 
• For users who are
audibly impaired they
can turn on subtitles
so they can read what
is being said so that
they can still watch
the video this will
reduce loss of any
users as they can still
watch the videos 
Performance 
Video quality can be automatically decreased or increased depending on your internet connection
so it can still provide the streaming service, so it won't buffer as it waits for a better stable
connection this van make videos run more smoothly as the site isn't trying to run a good quality
video. This is great for people who have slow internet as there still able to enjoy the site like
everyone else can except it will be a lower quality.
Strengths of YouTube
• A strength of YouTube is that there is always a broad range of videos for you to watch as
there is an algorithm that views the types of videos you watch and recommends more this is
a strength as it will make people to use this site more and more. People would use the site
due to how easy the site would get used to the type of videos you watch and then only
recommend these types of videos unless you change your taste. If the site didn’t do this, it
would make the sites views to possibly diminish   

• Another strength is that it is easy to use as the template allows for simple navigation there
are also categories on the top of the site to fit a certain type of video which rounds up videos
that fit the criteria of the algorithm got the categories for example if you went on debates or
game shows it would find you videos that fit that type
Weaknesses of YouTube
• A weakness of YouTube is that subtitles aren't usually accurate which can
lead to misconceptions and wrong ideas this can lead to people not wanting
to come back or even using subtitles. To fix this issue they could hire people
to watch and fix the videos or design a bot to automate the process making
it cheaper and easier to read it would make the site better as those who are
audibly impaired have a more accurate video experience.

• Another weakness is that clickbait is very easy to do as people can make a

very disturbing video misleading like the thumbnail can be made to say
anything the uploader wants this will make any viewer scared particularly
children making parents stopping them from going onto the video or even
the site.

Amazon is an e-commerce site made for people to look and buy for items they want or need
it's an easy site to use the audience is for all ages above 13+ as that are most typical ages who
use the site with a high majority of it being adults around their 20s and 40s

• The layout of the site is easy on the eyes as it uses a white
background most of the times with a somewhat bold black text on the
home page when searching for items the searched items will show in
a grid pattern presentation with a big image and small black writing.
This makes the site look more professional as it isn't sloppy with no
flaws. This is good as it couldn't ruin the sites experience  for people
who already use this site.
usability
• The search bar is good for usability as it is important to search for
specific items even then there is even a navigation/category bar for
the listed (best sellers, gift ideas and new releases) this makes it easy
to use as the category bar and search bar is at the top of the website
making it quicker for the user to notice. Having a search bar would be
a great asset as it allows for quicker profits for the site as people are
able to find the product they want or intrigued in.
 Accessibility
When selecting a product, you have the
option to increase image size the size if people
have a hard time viewing as well when using
the mouse if you hover it over the image, it
will magnify the image to help people who are
visually impaired

• The performance of the site is very quick as the images are
compressed files an example is jpeg or .jpg for short this is
compressed images which allows for a quicker download as the data
is a lot smaller to review letting the site to upload and not wasting up
time for users.
Strengths of amazon
• A strength of amazon is that it orders the categories of the products that allow for
further efficiency of the sites intended and original use to buy products that
people want or sometimes bored and want to explore the endless sea of products.
If the site didn’t order products like this, it could be a loss in sales. This could be
bad as people could possibly leave the site for good until its fixed. The amount of
people using the site would go down quickly and they could resort to another site.

• Another strength of amazon is that the grid like pattern of the site is easy to follow
for people even who are visually impaired it also allows the buyer to track their
package to see how long it will take
Weaknesses of
amazon
   A weakness of amazon is that the product quality is misleading as the
descriptions aren't accurate as they will only tell you the good things
about the product and hide the bad reviews at the bottom to get more
sales from a faulty or falsely praised. The result of this is that people
could leave false negative reviews that give a bad representation to
the product without a proper deserving reason.
Another weakness of amazon is that the accessibility features for
amazon are hard to find or very minor and not enough for people with
major disabilities trying to use the sight.
