Challenges and lesson learned
● There were not to many challenges during my internship except for while coaching
making sure that the kids were having fun and learning. Also making sure when
creating fliers that they are eye catching and easy to read.
● Some of the lessons learned while completing my internship was how important it is
to manage time and that when working with the community you are always looking
for ways to keep bringing people into the center.
Reflection
● This internship gave me the opportunity to showcase my leadership skills at a higher
level. Mr. Bryant pushed me to get comfortable being uncomfortable by having me
speak at community events and also when coaching my teams. After shadowing
Mr.Bryant I know how to properly run a facility and how important it is to be
creative to get people to want to be involved with your facility. I would like to thank
Mr.Bryant and the William Roscoe Community center for helping create a
comfortable learning environment.
