Every hour, thousands of plastic bottles are used and
disposed of as regular garbage. Sadly, only a small
portion of plastic bottles is recycled around the globe.

About 1 million sea animals die every year due to

plastic garbage thrown in to the ocean.
• 1. What do you think about the problem?

R// This is a problem that affects us all, since

pollution is on a red alert here in the city of
Bogotá due to so much pollution from all
people, cars and public transport that it
pollutes.
• 2. What would be a possible solution for it?
R// A possible solution would be for each week to find
a day when it is the day without a car and for the buses
to check them so that they do not expel so much smoke
and one day out of every fortnight that is cleaning the
environment such as collecting garbage and cleaning
parks and also that all the houses recycle.
• 3. Do you see this problem in your community? What do people do about it?
R//Yes, I have seen this problem in my community for
a long time and people say that it is a very polluted
environment but they do not do anything about it.
I intend to participate in aid for the cleaning of the city.
• 4. What will you do in the future to help solve this problem?

R// Iintend to participate in aid for the cleaning of

rivers and ponds, also to help in the cleaning of
streets and parks. In environmental and wildlife
management systems for large and small
companies to stabilize the planet's environmental
system.
