What is meant by environmental
pollution?
 Environmental pollution is defined as "the contamination of the physical and
biological components of the earth and atmosphere system to such an extent that
normal environmental processes are adversely affected."
What are the 7 different types of pollution?

 Water Pollution
 Air Pollution
 Soil Pollution
 Thermal Pollution
 Radioactive Pollution
 Noise Pollution
 Light Pollution
What are the effects of environmental
pollution
 High levels of air pollution can cause an increased risk of heart attack, wheezing,
coughing, breathing problems and irritation of the eyes, nose, and throat.
Air pollution can also cause worsening of existing heart problems, asthma, and
other lung complications.
Last but not least: How can we save the
environment?
 Well there are many things we can do to save the environment.
Here are some proposals :
1)Reduce, reuse, and recycle.
2)Volunteer work about the nature.
3)Conserve water
4)Shop wisely
5)Plant trees
