 OBJECTIVES
o Determine the feasibility of network plan for the
organization
o Design a network plan that is suitable for the
current network status of the school
o Determine the individuals who are authorized to
use and access the devices and school network
o To enhance or improve the network structure of
Bognuyan National High School
o Design a firewall policy to enhance the security
of the entire school
o Assess the designed network plan and firewall
policy through simulation testing tool.

SCOPE AND LIMITATION
o Bognuyan National High School, in Gasan
Marinduque, where the school has struggles
in obtaining a good quality of internet
connection
o Includes designing and planning of layout for
a network infrastructure, and the feasibility of
the study.

SCOPE AND LIMITATION
o The respondents of the project were limited to the
maximum of forty-three (43) Junior High School teachers,
ten (10) Senior High School teachers, fifteen (15) floating
teachers, and a total of one thousand and five-hundred
thirteen (1,513) students.
o Survey and interview will be used to gather data from the
selected students, teachers and other employees
o The process of network planning will be illustrated using
Gantt Chart and Work Breakdown Structure.

ANALYSIS
The Operational Feasibility was the method
used to identify, analyze, and to make certain that
the network infrastructure guaranteed the
requirements for the system development and
enhancement.
The Technical Feasibility (Appendix G) is also
used to assess the availability of the technical
resources. The network specialists evaluate
themselves to recognize and understand if they
have the ability and skills to upgrade a network
system and have the proficiency to deliver the
requirements for upgrading the former system.

The Economic Feasibility (Appendix I) was used
to indicate the number of infrastructures and
materials needed, showing the cost of expenses,
with the total amount that can be used to purchase
the needed materials

REQUIREMENTS
SPECIFICATIONS
Performance – The network infrastructure plan
and firewall policy management provides an
efficient and flexible performance that can be
optimized, and allows the improvement of the
network connection and security status of the
entire school campus.
Reliability – The network infrastructure shall
provide a truthful and complete result to the
educational status of the Information
Technology, through the ways of increasing the
security measures, and the efficiency and
flexibility of the network connection

Availability – The network infrastructure
plan provides the user a various number
of controls and access to all the
components of the network available for
the client computers of the school.
Security – With the integration of security
actions through firewall, the infrastructure
can provide advanced security and
protection of the school to prevent
authorized attacks that can manipulate the
data of the network.
