MAIN MISSION OF EENG
Purposeful use of science and mathematics for designing
and building technological systems such as electrical and
communication systems.
Electromagnetics -> Electrical Machines, Communications
Electrical and electronics engineers work on a diverse range of
technologies, including, lighting and wiring of buildings, electrical
machines, power electronics, electrical power stations,
telecommunication systems, satellite communications, analog
electronics, digital electronics, control systems (or robots),
development of electronic devices such as computers and mobile
phones.
ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS
DESIGN?
 A computer, tablet or smartphone.
 Robot (comprised of sensors, actuators, microprocessors and
sophisticated feedback control systems)
 Space projects - deep space communications, robust control
systems, extra terrestrial GPS for navigation and positioning,
power generation and storage networks, imaging systems.
 Sophisticated medical technology including CT, MRI and PET
imaging machines, ECG and blood pressure monitors.
