THEORY BASED
i. Introduction and Conclusion are must.
ii. Write answers in paragraphs (gives a formal outlook)
iii. Read the questions and mark the different parts to avoid missing
any part.
DEFINITION BASED
i. Introduction and Conclusion are mandatory.
ii. Do not copy paste the definition from the bare act.
iii. Write the definition in your own words.
iv. Definition given by SC/HC can be written in the same language.
GUIDELINES BASED
i. Introduction and Conclusion are must.
ii. Introduction should include the reasons why the Court laid down
these guidelines.
iii. Conclusion must contain how the objectives will be achieved.
iv. Name of the judgement to be written properly.
v. Guidelines to be written in the same language (preferably).
vi. If written in own language then do not skip any point and do not
alter their meaning.
• For eg:
1. Discuss the guidelines laid down in D.K. Basu case in relation to the
arrest procedure.
2. Discuss the guidelines laid down by SC in Lalita Kumari vs. State of
U.P.
