Welcome to my presentation today am going to be
talking about The Iron Age and what they did in those
times and how they survived
What was the iron age
The Iron Age was a time period from the time 500bc to
43AD in Britain. It was preceded by the stone age and
bronze age.
What did they do in The Iron age
In the Iron age many people lived in hill an forts. the
forts were surrounded by and ditches and warriors
defended their people from enemy attacks
What happened during The iron
Age
The iron age was in human history that started between
1200 B.C. and 600 B.C. during the iron age Asia and
parts of Africa started making tolls and weapons from
iron and steel
Why is it called the iron age
Where iron became the preferred choice of meal for
making tools. The iron age marks the end of prehistory
after the stone age and the bronze age.
How did the iron age people live
Inside the hill forts, families lived in simple round
houses made of mud and wood with thatched roofs
When was the iron age in Britain
The period of human history when the use of iron
became widespread is called the iron age . In Britain it
begins around 800 BC and ends in AD 43 with roman
invasion.
