PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENT

• Performance improvement is a form of organization development


focused on increasing outputs and improving efficiency for a particular
process or procedure. Performance improvement can occur at
different levels including the employee level, team level, the division
or unit level and the organisation as a whole.

Objectives Of Performance Improvement

• To improve and sustain the desired behaviour and performance


result of each staff member
• To provide adequate descriptions of required performance
improvement
• To provide a timetable outlining the dates by which improvement
will be necessary
• To require regular meetings for the supervisor and staff member
• To require cooperation and ongoing communication between
supervisior and staff member.
PERFORMANCE GAP

•  A performance gap is the difference between intended and actual


performance. This can happen at any level of the organization. For
example there can be a performance gap with one particular
salesperson who doesn't hit their target, with an entire sales team
who falls short of the goal, or with the sales process itself not
responding promptly to requests.

• Creative strategy is a strategy that is created by a team, usually


consisting of copywriters, an art director and a creative director.

going to help the marketing campaign meet the specific goals that
the company has set out

PAY FOR PERFORMANCE

Pay for performance is a right mix of the HR processes, which


supports the optimal performance of the organization and it pays
the most performing employees significantly differently, includes
special compensation schemes for the selected group of
employees and gives career opportunities to the best talents in the
organization
