C, REGIONAL HEALTH SERVICE UNIT
• Conducts regular check-up to BFP personnel and dependents, retirees, NUP,
and other walk in clients;
• Conducts Medical & Physical Examination/Evaluation for recruitment and
promotion of personnel;
• Conducts medical profiling;
• Conducts random drug testing to BFP Personnel;
• Conducts of RCAC review;
• Conducts Health programs and other medical related activities; and,
• Performs other tasks as the Regional Director may direct.

Deputy Chief:
• Assists the Medical Doctor in the conduct of various check- ups, examinations,
and evaluations;
• Conducts VS of patients/ Client;
• Prepares PPMP and other documents;
• Dispenses Medicines as directed by medical doctor;
• Conducts inventory of medicines and equipment; and,
• Performs other tasks as the C, RHSU may direct.

Health Service Clerk:
• Organizes files, drafts correspondence, prepares reports and documents, and
sorts mails;
• Creates and maintains filing systems, both electronic and hard copy forms;
• Performs other duties as the C, RHSU may direct.

C, Physical Therapy and
Rehabilitation Unit:
• Caters education, physical treatment and rehabilitation services
• Conducts pre-evaluation of patient’s disability and drafts/alter/revise treatment
plans or health programs as needed.
• Facilitates lectures and power point presentations/manuscript of the Unit’s
Educational Program
• Performs other tasks/functions as may directed by the Regional Director

PT Assistants and Clerk:
• Assists the Physical Therapist in providing therapeutic care to patients with disability such as
but not limited to monitoring of vital signs before, during and after treatments to ensure
wellness.
• Assists in the evaluation of medical results prior to the issuance and approval of clearance
for trainings, promotion and other required compliances in the BFP.
• Prepare all reports and lectures/preparations/manuscript for submission or used of the Chief,
Regional PTRU.
• Records observations and results of therapeutic treatments for the patient’s progress report.
• Follow-up compliances on home care programs or plans as agreed and consented with the
patient.
• Performs other duties as may be directed by the Regional Chief, Health Service and PTRU.
• Consolidates Monthly/quarterly/semi-annual/annual accomplishment and evaluation reports.

Psychologist (2):
• Assess, diagnose and treat the psychological problems and the behavioural
dysfunctions resulting from, or related to physical and mental health.
• Talks to individuals and fosters their positive mental health and personal growth.
• Evaluates patient’s needs and accommodates them accordingly.
• Studies factors that affect human behavior.
• Develops treatment plans.
• Administers psychological tests and determines results.

C, Dental Unit:
• Provides a holistic dental and Oral health care to all BFP-NCR personnel and
their dependents;
• Issues Dental clearance to FO1 Applicants during recruitment and personnel
prior to promotion and mandatory trainings;
• Supervises and issues dental supplies to the five Dental District Offices in the
Region;
• Performs other tasks as the C, RHSU may direct.

Dentist:
• Evaluates all BFP NCR FO1 applicants;
• Evaluates, profiles, and updates Dental records of all BFP-NCR personnel who
are to undergo trainings, or promotion;
• Conducts dental treatment to civilians/retirees, Uniformed and Non-Uniformed
personnel to include their dependents; and,
• Performs other tasks as may be directed by the C, RHSU.

Property custodian:
• Prepares PPMP; and,
• Performs other function as the Medical Doctor or Dentist may direct.

Nurse:
• Pre- evaluates patients like taking and recording vital signs such as BP
monitoring, temperature, pulse rate and respiratory rate, etc.;
• Assists the dentist during treatment procedures;
• Post-evaluation of patients after procedure;
• Cleans and maintains dental instruments, materials and dental chair;
• Files the records of the patients;
• Assures the cleanliness of the dental clinic; and,
• Performs other tasks as the Dentist may direct.

• Assists in the conduct of dental screening and registration of FO1 applicants

• Performs other duties as the Dentist or Nurse may direct.
