Description Since political misinformation is a hot topic, many researchers have written about it. I chose peer-reviewed articles with a publication date between 2021 and 2022 to focus my search. I selected social media platforms as the specialized medium for the dissemination of bogus news. Why political Misinformation? Advances in technology has impacted the way misinformation is spread. Because of misinformation, many social groupings in our society end up severing their relationships. Since I think that roughly three-quarters of today's age has access to social media, I chose it as the main channel for disseminating false information.
