THE RULES
All rules and policies must be laid down
first before the debate proper starts in
order to lessen confusion and disorder
We should clearly mention the rules not
just expecting them to know it.

DEFINE A TOPIC
The topic to discuss must be clear to
participants prior to the debate proper in
order to get a good exchange of ideas in
both parties.
They will just assigned the side where they
will defend.

Participants will be given the side they are going
to defend either pro or cons
Both party will be given three times to speak
alternately
1. 5 minutes presentation of their point
2. 3 answering and refuting opponents ideas

They will be given an interval of rest every after
the presentation of points.
During rebuttal they and exchange of ideas, will
are expected and inspected the respect and
mannerism, it should be wholesome.

IS IN PROGRESS:

1. Verbal behaviour
2. Non verbal behaviour
3. Variety of style
4. Coherence(ability to follow points)
5. Respect to other (opponent)
The debate includes three group
• Affirmative team

• Opposing team

• Judge
A judge(student, teacher)

Measure the reasoning ability of student

Present the idea well
Measure the information you have about
specific topic.

• All members must be in equal
