Topic 1:
Lesson 1:

•Reflection:
•In this lesson I learned about the different
elements of nature such as Air, Water, Fire, Space
and Earth and how they are connected to dance. I
also got to know about the different and various
details of the unit such as the Key Concept which
was 'Aesthetics', Related Concept which was
'Interpretation', Global Context which was 'Personal
& Cultural Expression' and finally the Statement Of
Inquiry which was 'Keen observation towards
nature leads towards creative dance." From this SOI
I understand that if we give importance to nature
and understand its behavior we can lead towards
creative/innovative dance.
In this lesson we practiced a complex and intricate choreography to the song 'Hall Of Fame' by 'The Script' and
'will.i.am'. I was excited about this choreography because I liked this song a lot. We also learned these moves
through an exercise called 'Mirror Dance' where we had to mirror our partner. Rohit Sir told my partner what to do
and I tried to mirror his movements. Then we started learning the movements first with the legs, then with the
hands, and then with both together, which helped me to improve my hand-leg coordination, which helped me to
make my body more flexible inside.

Lesson 2: Practical
Topic 2:
Lesson 3: Mix

• In this lesson we have inquired about Isadora

Duncan, a contemporary dancer born on May 26,
1877. She herself discovered modern dance, which
is now known as contemporary dance. However,
the road to discovering the dance style was very
arduous, as Isadora Duncan had to travel all over
the world, especially to places with ancient facts
and artefacts, such as Italy, to find out about the
ancient Romans and their empire. She had also
visited other countries like Germany and France to
officially discover contemporary dance. After this
research, we created an advertisement on the
importance of rules. During this activity, my
teammates were Shreyansh, Prisha and Advik.

a choreography with my friends
on 'Art For Peace' in which we had

performance the most even

were decent.

• Exit Ticket- Make an act
on an emotion of your
choice through a video.
• My video -
• This lesson was great as I learned about the 9 rasas
Lesson 10: also known as Narvasas. In this lesson, we also tried
to act with different emotions through a throw-and-
Reflection catch activity. Overall, this class was
AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Lesson 11: • IN THIS LESSON, OUR FORMATIVE ASSESSMENT 2 WAS
HELD. MY AND THE OTHER GROUPS PERFORMED REALLY
PRACTICAL WELL, ALTHOUGH ALL GROUPS LACKED A LITTLE BIT OF
COLLABORATION. MY GROUP HAD  CHOSEN THE MUSIC
VERY QUICKLY WHICH GAVE US MORE TIME TO PREPARE
OUR MOVES. OVERALL, THIS CLASS WAS EXCELLENT.
In this lesson we were divided into groups
LESSON 12: after being explained about inquiry-based
learning which was interesting. In our

THEORITIC groups we had to connect emotions and

expressions to a topic which was given to
us. My group was given ancient mythology,
AL so we talked about the Battle of Banquan
and wrote our takeaways on a sticky note.
Lesson 13: Theoretical

• This lesson was fabulous. Firstly, we were divided into 4 groups of

4 students. My groupmates were Saara, Advik & Prisha. Then we learnt
about inquiry-based learning and its 6 steps. Then we had to choose a
movie and show how it incorporates all the 6 steps. Our group lacked
communication-mostly Advik. Also, time-management skills which was
common with other groups. Overall, I felt happy about the result of the
class and am excited to learn more.
Lesson 14: • In this lesson we understood what all our
summative assessment includes, and the different
Theoretical  parts involved in it.
• In this lesson we divided ourselves into groups of
minimum 5 and started planning our summative
Lesson 15: assessment. My groupmates/ teammates who
all live in Delhi or Ghaziabad are -
Theoretical  • Me (Of course), Tanay, Mishika, Savya, Yuvraj &
Prisha. We started thinking about places where
we could meetup and finally decided to have
separate meetup for boys and for girls and at our
destination one of the boys and one of the girls
will get a laptop so we can connect with each
other while we are apart.
Lesson 16: Practical
• In this lesson we practiced our dance and further collaborated to
create an awesome and engaging choreography on the song
Dandelions by Ruth B. on our element water. We also had some
fun while dancing.
Lesson 17: Practical

• In this lesson we had a final practice of our

choreography on Dandelions by Ruth B. based
on the element 'Water'. After our practice we
went to the stage and got our dance recorded
and presented it to Rohit Sir and the other
groups. We also watched each other's
performance. This class was exceptional overall
(especially as we went to the stage of CPA😁).
