The Mauritius Kestrel is endemic to the forests of
Mauritius. It is a small falcon with brown lumage with
black spots and short wings.

The Mauritius Kestrel is currently considered

Endangered. It is the only living raptor in Mauritius.

During the holidays I went on a small

expedition in our endemic forests of
Mauritius to be able to observe and study
the kestrel and after several research I
