    In sumo, two rikishi (sumo wrestlers)


    wearing nothing but a mawashi
    (loincloth), face each other in a dohyo
    JAPAN SUMO (circular ring) and try to push, grapple,
    and throw his opponent. The one who
    WRESTLING forces his opponent to the ground or
    pushes him out of the ring is the winner.

    There are a lot of traditions surrounding


    funerals in Taiwan, but perhaps the most
    unusual is the appearance of pole dancers
    TAIWAN POLE DANCERS AT or even strippers at some point in the
    ceremony. This is said to appease the
    FUNERAL wandering spirits of the dead and creates
    a carnival like atmosphere for the living.
