NAAMAN’S

LITTLE
MAID
Key Text: ll Kings 5:3
Then she said to
her mistress, “ If
only my master
were with the
prophet who is in
Samaria! For he
would heal him of
his leprosy.”
Lessons from this Story:
1. Never underestimate the
power of little things.
Remember that….
1 candle can wipe out darkness
1 tap on the shoulder can
lift a soul
1 life touched can make a
difference
Little maid – shines
like a little candle in
Naaman’s life. It
generated hope in his
heart.

Small humble lunch of a boy –

5 loaves and 2 fishes were able
to feed more than 5,000 people.
In God’s sight, no little things
can remain unnoticed.
2. One can never be too young to witness for
God.

The little maid was

never afraid to
witness for God…
She was unhappy
of her master’s
disease.
Experiences:
Small girl – studying in our church school
Little Meriam – traveling with her
parents
Jesus at the age of 12 – He was not
afraid to talk about God
Victoria – 9 years old.
She lives in Amazon
River, Brazil.

Every week she paddled her canoe to

visit homes where she taught
children’s songs and bible stories and
she did it for 3 years.
“ Children who are properly
instructed will become witnesses for
the truth.”
3. Never complain when facing
adverse circumstances

Bad things may happen

also to God’s people
Her faith was rooted &
grounded
King of Israel was angry but
she trusted that the man of
God can heal her master.
l Peter 5: 7
Even in adverse
situations, God is there
and cares for you!
Experience:
Death of my younger
sister – opening of our
conversion to SDA church.
Death of Linda Koh’s mother – she
asked
“Is there a God?”
Her father was depressed for 6 long
years before he got married again.
Experience of Job
My brother’s death…
As the story goes… Prophet Elisha gave
instruction to Naaman, he followed and
was healed. He returned home

that there is no God
in all the earth,
except in Israel.”
