For the Kingdom is called because of its king. They
are not literally waiting the “place/ territorial”
kingdom but they are waiting the king that will save
and free Israel and establish the Kingdom that shall
last Forever
KINGDOM OF HEAVEN
•1. Salvation (Daniel 7:13-14)
The origin of the word Kingdom is
divided into two words,
King / Dom (dominion)
Daniel 7:13-14
He was given authority, glory and
sovereign power; all peoples, nations and
men of every language worshiped him.
His dominion is an everlasting dominion
that will not pass away, and his
kingdom is one that will never be
KINGDOM OF HEAVEN

•2. Where the presence of God

dwells (Ezekiel 11:19-20)
Ezekiel 11:19-20
I will give them an undivided heart and put a
new spirit in them; I will remove from them
their heart of stone and give them a heart of
flesh. Then, they will follow my decrees and
be careful to keep my laws. They will be my
people, and I will be their God.(NIV)
CHALLENGE
•We are the kingdom People of God, which
means the Word of the king is at our
command. (Ezekiel 11:19-20)
•The Word of our King was already given to
us (BIBLE).
Ezekiel 11:19-20
I will give them an undivided heart and put a
new spirit in them; I will remove from them
their heart of stone and give them a heart of
flesh. Then, they will follow my decrees and
be careful to keep my laws. They will be my
people, and I will be their God.(NIV)
THE LAW OF OUR KING
•As Citizen in the Kingdom of
Heaven we must obey our King!

•Matthew 22:37-39
Matthew 22:37-40
Jesus replied: "`Love the Lord your God with
all your heart and with all your soul and with
all your mind.' This is the first and greatest
commandment. And the second is like it:
`Love your neighbor as yourself.' All the Law
and the Prophets hang on these two
commandments."(NIV)
Matthew 22:37-40
Jesus replied: "`Love the Lord your God with
all your heart and with all your soul and with
all your mind.' This is the first and greatest
commandment. And the second is like it:
`Love your neighbor as yourself.' All the Law
and the Prophets hang on these two
commandments."(NIV)
“2. BLESSED ARE THOSE
WHO MOURN”
MATTHEW 5:4  ISAIAH 61:2-3
REMEMBER THAT THE
FIRST STEP IS CRUCIAL IN
OUR TOPIC TODAY
Always remember that this is a
Step-by-step process
THE QUESTION IS WHY ARE
THOSE WHO ARE POOR IN
SPIRIT MUST MOURN?
After they have receive Jesus Christ and
become heirs to the kingdom of God.
SAID IN ISAIAH 61:2-3, GOD WILL BRING
COMFORT TO HIS PEOPLE BUT WHY ARE MANY
CHRISTIAN ARE SUFFERING NOW?
• This is a Prophecy in the Old Testament and it shall
be fulfilled in the Second Coming of Jesus Christ
(Revelation 21:4)
• Even the Completion of our Salvation shall happen
in His second Coming. (Philippians 1:6)
THEN WHY DOES CHRISTIAN
NEEDS TO MOURN UNTIL THE
SECOND COMING OF JESUS
CHRIST?
1. WE MOURN BECAUSE WE ARE IN
THE BIRTH PAIN ERA (JOHN 16:20-22)

• What is Birth pain Era?

• This Birth Pain must happen to all
Christians for this is where our Faith is
tested, this is our Wilderness
1. WE MOURN BECAUSE WE ARE IN
THE BIRTH PAIN ERA (JOHN 16:20-22)

• We are suffering because the World

Hates us (John 15:19)
•Sometimes even our Closest friend and
family will hate us because of Christ.
JUST AS THE WORLD HATED
CHRIST, THE WORLD WILL
ALSO HATE THOSE WHO ARE
IN CHRIST.
2. WE MOURN FOR WE SHARE IN THE
SUFFERING OF CHRIST (2 COR. 1:7)

• We must carry the Death of Jesus

Christ in our Life (2 Cor. 4:8-10)
•So that His resurrection shall also be
manifested in our life.
2. WE MOURN FOR WE SHARE IN THE
SUFFERING OF CHRIST (2 COR. 1:7)
•So that in our suffering, in our
pain people will experience
comfort and life (2 Cor. 1:6 and 2
Cor. 4:11-12)
3. WE MOURN TO PRODUCE
REPENTANCE (2 COR. 7:10)
•Our Tears and Cry out to the
Lord must lead to life, we can
know it if there is repentance.
STEP ONE TOWARDS STEP TWO
1ST POOR IN SPIRIT
2ND THOSE WHO MOURN
• Begging and Desperate • Because they share in the
For Jesus Christ Suffering of Jesus Christ
 Will Receive Jesus  Will receive the eternal joy
Christ of Christ. (2Cor. 1:5)
All who are poor in spirit shall
cry out in desperate for Christ.
CHALLENGE: (2 COR. 1:9-10)
God allows us to mourn and experience many
sufferings for us to rely on Him alone.
We cry out to Him for we believe that he will deliver
us from this pain just as He saves us from our Sins.
REMEMBER EVEN HOW
PAINFUL IS THE BIRTH PAIN,
IT WILL NEVER OVERPASS
THE JOY WHEN THE MOTHER
SAW HER CHILD
THAT’S WHY EVEN THOUGH WHAT
KIND OF PAIN AND SUFFERING WE
ARE NOW EXPERIENCE IT WILL
NEVER BE COMPARE TO THE JOY
THAT WE WILL EXPERIENCE IN
CHRIST
DO NOT REJOICE WITH THE
WORLD FOR THEY SHALL
MOURN ETERNALLY IN THE
END. FOR IT’S BETTER TO
MOURN NOW AND REJOICE
ETERNALLY IN THE END.
